The 2026 CBFNC Leadership Forum will feature Dr. Andrew Root, author of several books including “The Congregation in a Secular Age”, “Churches and the Crisis of Decline: A Hopeful, Practical Ecclesiology for a Secular Age”, and "Evangelism in an Age of Despair: Hope Beyond the Failed Promise of Happiness”. Dr. Root is the Olsen Baalson Professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Dr. Root will give two presentations at the Leadership Forum. The Forum will take place from 10:00am to 2:00pm on March 19, 2026. The Forum will be held at the Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. The event is a part of the Annual Gathering of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina.
